Anthropic Upgrades Claude Voice Mode With App Integration

Anthropic has updated Claude's voice mode, allowing users to choose between Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku models. The update defaults to the fastest version of whichever model a user last used in text chat, enabling longer, more complex conversations. A key differentiator from OpenAI's voice mode is Claude's ability to connect with external apps like Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Canva, and Notion. Multilingual support is also now out of beta, covering ten languages. Free users are limited to the Haiku model with one connected app. Anthropic made no changes to the underlying voice model itself.
