Anthropic Signs $45B Compute Deal With Nscale
Anthropic has secured a $45 billion, six-year deal with British AI infrastructure startup Nscale to rent compute powered by Nvidia's cutting-edge Vera Rubin chips. The capacity will come from Nscale's West Virginia data center and is expected to go live in late 2027.
The deal is part of Anthropic's aggressive compute expansion over the past eight months. Recent partnerships include a $10 billion deal with Volta, a $5 billion agreement with AMD, a major SpaceX computing arrangement, and expanded deals with Amazon, Google, and Broadcom.
