Anthropic Signs $10B Cloud Deal With Volta
Anthropic has struck a reported $10 billion deal with AI cloud startup Volta to supply compute power over six years. The partnership, first reported by Bloomberg, also involves crypto-mining firm Bitdeer, which will help build a 133-megawatt data center in Norway powered by Nvidia's Vera Rubin chip architecture.
The deal is part of Anthropic's aggressive push to expand computing capacity as competition among AI companies intensifies. Anthropic has recently announced similar compute agreements with SpaceX and Amazon.
