Anthropic Embeds Claude as Persistent Slack Teammate

Anthropic has launched Claude Tag, a new product that embeds its AI model directly into Slack as a shared, persistent team member. Available in beta for Enterprise and Team customers, it replaces the existing Claude Slack app and lets users delegate work by simply typing @Claude. Unlike a standard chatbot or search tool, Claude Tag is designed to function as a standing team member that builds memory, works asynchronously, takes initiative, and interacts with everyone in a channel. The move marks Anthropic's most aggressive push yet into enterprise collaboration.
