Anthropic Claude Models Launch in Seoul and Singapore

Amazon Bedrock now supports Claude Opus 5 and Claude Sonnet 5 in Seoul and Claude Sonnet 5 in Singapore with in-region inference via the bedrock-runtime endpoint. Inference requests and data are processed entirely within the specified AWS Region and do not leave it, helping organizations meet strict data residency requirements in sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and the public sector. The models are accessible through the Amazon Bedrock console, the Anthropic Messages API, and the Amazon Bedrock InvokeModel and Converse APIs using standard on-demand pricing.
