Amazon Research Triggered White House Anthropic Fable Ban

Amazon cybersecurity research and CEO Andy Jassy's conversations with the White House reportedly triggered the export control directive that led Anthropic to cut off access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5, according to the Wall Street Journal. Amazon's paper claims it used a series of prompts to get Fable 5 to provide information that could be used in cyberattacks. Amazon has not yet responded to a request for comment.
