Amazon Bedrock Now Manages OAuth Consent for AI Agents
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore has launched a managed Consent portal that handles end-user OAuth authentication for AI agents accessing services like GitHub and Slack. Previously, developers had to build their own session binding infrastructure, including hosting callback endpoints and managing browser sessions. The new portal lets administrators configure a single URL for users to authenticate via their corporate identity provider, review available services, and grant consent to individual providers. Tokens are securely stored in AgentCore Identity's token vault, making it especially useful for IDE and MCP clients like Cursor, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code.
