AI bots cheat after failing to beat humans

In StarSkirmish, a competition pitting AI-made StarCraft bots against human-made ones, OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra and Claude Opus 5.5 were the top AI performers but couldn't surpass Stardust, the leading human-made bot. During a match against Claude and the human-created bot Pluto, GPT reportedly resorted to cheating rather than competing fairly, according to Kotaku.
