Adobe Firefly Now Generates Music, Speech, Sound Effects

Adobe has launched general availability of audio tools in its Firefly creative AI suite, enabling users to generate music, speech, and sound effects. The Generate Music tool creates copyright-safe original tracks tailored to video length and mood, while Generate Speech offers natural voiceovers via Firefly Speech or ElevenLabs integration. A sound effects generator rounds out the audio toolkit, creating custom effects based on prompts that match content timing and energy. All audio output is described as production-quality and commercially safe, with no additional subscription required. The move puts Adobe in direct competition with audio AI tools from Google, OpenAI, and Stability AI.
